Dr. Lily Fayz is a board-certified maxillofacial prosthodontist. A Chicago native, she attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in Psychology and Chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, graduating at the top of her class. During dental school, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, the Dr. Lina B. Tharp Award, and the Predoctoral Prosthodontic Achievement Award from the American College of Prosthodontists.
Dr. Fayz completed her three-year postgraduate residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago, where she also earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences and served as Chief Resident. Her training included comprehensive treatment planning, full-mouth rehabilitation, implant dentistry, and fixed and removable prosthodontics, using both digital and conventional workflows. She has also contributed to research published in the field of implant dentistry.
Following residency, Dr. Fayz completed a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Her fellowship training included dental oncology and the prosthetic management of patients with acquired and developmental maxillofacial defects, including intraoral and extraoral rehabilitation. She also collaborated with surgical and oncology teams in caring for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Fayz provides restorative, implant, and esthetic dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, and specialized maxillofacial prosthetic care. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized treatment tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
In her free time, Dr. Fayz can usually be found doing Pilates, planning her next trip, or spending time with family and friends.
